I absolutely love these pictures that my dear friend/coworker Becka Brebner took of my little family. She did a fantastic job! Becka is a PACU nurse who is currently an SME (like me) for the electronic medical record project for our hospital system, but one of her passions is photography. Her most recent work includes being the set photographer for some indie films in Seattle and engagement sessions -- you know, photographing people who actually listen to you, unlike a squirrelly 23-month old.
We met up at the Museum of Glass in downtown Tacoma. Becka got down on the floor, tromped around grass with dog poo landmines, and was quick with the shutter in order to capture these shots. Baxter was quick to warm up to her after she encouraged him to jump around, splash in the fountain, and get his first big ice cream cone to himself to eat (which promptly fell over after a couple licks). When we were done with the shoot and getting Bax in his carseat to go home, he was looking for his new best friend and said, "Becka, where aaaarrre yoouuuu?"
These are just a couple of the teaser pictures she sent me, and I can't wait to see the rest. Thanks Becka! You are fabulous.
