And so it begins.

Hello, October. You came around rather quickly.

We have successfully moved to Gig Harbor. We managed to cram everything we own into my old room in my parents' house, their garage, and a 10x10 storage unit and are now counting down the days until we can do the whole moving ordeal over again in January. A big domo arigato to our family members who helped out: Sergei, Alex, Bob, Kae, Mikki, Loyd, Matthew, Brittney, Beef, and Sheith.

Construction has officially started on our home. They've laid foundation and set up our first bathroom (the Honey Bucket) on our lot. After seeing the outline in person, I realized the house is a lot smaller than my imagination anticipated. I believe we have the smallest house in construction, seeing as the McMansion (as Mike calls it) across the street has at least four full bathrooms (and probably six bedrooms). That house and our house are on the same sized lot, so at least we can say we have a spacious backyard. We're excited for January to roll around so we can make good on our word and finally host a karaoke/game night party that we've been promising everyone for the longest time, and I can finally get my craft room.
